Escape theme park is a scam man =.= I think the only ride worth it was perhaps the Viking? Yea it was worth 0.01 buck . . .

And the go-kart was boring too. I find bicycles more fun =P Lawls.

Haunted House II seemed more like a long maze to me. It was too dark to see anything. I bet it'll be really scary if they put some unicorns in it. I'll be looking out for "Haunted House III : Unicorn Attack"

The next time I get a Escape theme park ticket for free, I'll just give it away =.= Seriously, don't go there. Unless you don't mind spending 2.50 for a hot dog. I can get 2 and a half hot dogs from IKEA. And they're much bigger. And a @#$*load of mustard and chili. Well, sort of.

Damn I just watched Cyril pulling 50 dollar notes out of the Fountain of Wealth and throwing it into the crowd. Why never call me arh?

Well, it has been a lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggg time since I last posted. Well I was busy with my competition, then my Maple Server (here) and now I'm free! Yea, sort of.

Anyway, since a couple of us got free tickets to Escape Theme Park, we decided to go there today. Well, yesterday (It's 1.30 now =P). Guess what? It was under renovation.

So the others decided to go to Beauty World to play at a LAN Shop. I followed them for 2 hours of boredom. I can't believe they find it fun shooting each other in a freaking small map 86 times. I think more than that.

After that, Jonathan went to redeem his small fries at MacDonald's. Me being me, I casually took out a deck of Bees and started fanning. Then there was this guy who came to me and ask me to fan again, asking me if I did magic. Which I did, of course. So he went on to ask me which stall I patronize. And there came the topic of Magic Hall's piracy.

Anyway, so this guy showed me a trick. He asked me if I saw that trick before. I answered "No. . . I've done it before"

Okay I didn't mean to be an asshole, but apparently I was one =.=

My blog's really boring right? No pictures, nothing. Here's a picture for you:

Remember to knock your head against that thing

There's the classic example of testing whether you are pessimistic or optimistic : The tester shows you a bottle which is filled up halfway with water. Then he'll ask you whether it's half-full or half-empty. Apparently, you are pessimistic if you say the bottle is half empty and optimistic if you say it's half-full. Since primary school, we have been taught to always see that bottle as half-full.

Not me. I always see the bottle as half-empty. But I see myself as optimistic. Why? The reason is simple: By saying the bottle is half-empty, I'm implying that that bottle is supposed to be full, compared to a person who says its half-full, who implies that the bottle is supposed to be empty.

This brings me to the point: Dennis was asking me about my SA2 marks (Which were comparable to a bucket of shit. Other than the bucket), and somehow ended up with Yun Qing being damn imbal (Heheh). Anyway, he made a remark about 3E1 people, girls especially, being complete muggers.

I could not disagree more. Well, maybe the girls really do mug with all the free time they have. But I don't think they are such nerds (correct me if I'm wrong). The point is, it's no longer 1980, where
Exam resultsMugging input

As in what Mr Cha says, it's the method. In fact, you can get distinctions without studying (don't try though. It's very risky). Really, once you get the method, you will find doing the subject really easy. It's just like practicing an Exam Piece on a musical instrument. When you first start, the brain will take very long to process the information and the fingers will stop abruptly again and again (unless your sight-reading very good). However, after practicing a lot of times, it'll be almost second nature to you.

Just another of my two cents

I recently read this article : http://www.nytimes.com/...interstitial and it lead me to reflect about certain things. No, I don't bring knifes to school. But as an enthusiastic card manipulator, playing cards are something I bring to school.

Me and James was told by Mr Cha last Friday that cards were not allowed in school so I kept it. I have nothing against that, I mean, that's his job. Well, I didn't get sent to like a reform school for 45 days or something. Today, I just happened to read the student diary. Sure enough, there was one part where they said "playing cards" could not be brought to school.

Now lets look at the root of this rule. Playing cards are traditionally used for gambling, which is illegal under the Singapore law (If I'm not wrong). However, it is not true that majority of the people uses it to gamble. Everyone plays card games with playing cards, but money is usually not involved. A counter-argument to this is that it encourages gambling. Alright then. I wonder how magic and cardistry encourages gambling. It seems that educational institutes are assuming (aka making an ASS out of U and ME) that students are thugs who use playing cards for mindless money making scheme for lunch. Are we not allowed to practice morally and ethically correct creativity in a form of art? Isn't that what most Educational Institutes want?

Of course, this can be retorted by telling card handlers to do their fancy stuff somewhere else. Well which 'somewhere else' can you go do your stuff? Students spend most of their time in school and at home. Where else can we go?

Going back to the rules, there are certainly lots of loopholes to take advantage of. One of the ones I found was that it mentioned "playing cards". In the Oxford dictionary, "playing cards" are defined as 'any one of a set of 52 cards with numbers and pictures printed on one side, which are used to play various card games'. Already there are 2 loop holes : One is that I can add a joker into my deck of 52 to make it 53 so it cannot be defined as "playing cards", another is that I do not use it 'to play various card games'.

These is just my two cents, it doesn't really matter that this rule exists. Unfortunately, nobody really cares. Discipline seem to be all about cutting hair and making the school have a good name. Good luck with that vision.

There go our exams. Only physics paper 1 and Chemistry SPA left! Finally, we can slack (for a short amount of time)

Anyway, I'm not going to talk about exams. Okay, not surprising. Who the hell blogs about the most boring thing in the world?

It's more like what happened next. Since we finished pretty early (earlier than Biology and Literature students), a couple of us went to MacDonalds' to eat breakfast. Man it have been a long time since I last ate breakfast at MacDonald's. Actually, there were a lot of people there too. I remember seeing a couple of my classmates, and a floating uniform and wig. You know what I mean.

I bet you are saying this (If you even read my blog. I bet no one ever reads this blog any more) : 'You @$%KING RACIST. PEOPLE WHITE THEN MUST GO DISCRIMINATE ARH? BE FAIR LAH' Problem is, the only way I am ever going to be fair is to bleach my skin.

After that, I accompanied Jared and Dennis to Westmall. Actually it was more like they accompanied me to Westmall. To buy more cards. Unfortunately, Popular bookstore was not open until 11, so we went to Coffee Bean to sit down, have a chat about, you know, stuff. Worst idea ever. I wasted $6.60 for a cup of rather nice tea. Should have just kept on refilling the tea at MacDonalds' before I left.

So now I have got the cards, and Jared remembers Kellie was just finishing her lessons, and now I follow him back. Had a really good time making noises. Not what you are thinking of, dirty fellas. I'm talking about blowing the freaking straw and making a loud horn-like noise. And so I was playing with my cards, and well, did a few tricks to a teacher. His stun face was damn cool.

Of course, Kellie came, I followed Jared to the bus-stop. I have a psychological barrier (in other words, biased) against girls. Technically because they are too powerful. Which really makes me laugh when I see women "fighting for their rights". Are they idiots or what. They have all the power and influence that men can never dream of. But still, they are certainly quite well-informed on current 'affairs', so I stood by and listen. Hey, I was bored anyway.

Heheh working on my JellyFishMS. I will be setting it up real soon, just wait for it guys! =P

Just something random:

As more people smoke, the smell gets worse
With horrible smelling-streets, more people feel like vomiting
As more people feel like vomiting, more people become bulimic
As more people become bulimic, there will be a higher chance of people vomiting into vegetation
As more vegetation have the acidic vomit on them, more vegetation will die
As more vegetation dies, there is lesser oxygen produced
As there is lesser oxygen produced, more cows die
As more cows die, there is less milk available
As there is less milk available, chocolate companies will have lesser chocolate produced
At the same time, the vegetation which died may include cocoa trees.

See? As more people smoke, less chocolate (or even none) will be available. CAN YOU IMAGINE A WORLD WITH NO CHOCOLATE? HOW ON EARTH ARE WE GOING TO LIVE?!?!?!

Anyway, James came to borrow my cards to "practice shuffling". Apparently he don't want to do magic but "only riffle shuffling and stuff". Okay bestest. It's called cardistry, Number 5.

Exam is in 5 days. And I thought CA just ended. Time flies, right? WRONG! Time is not a matter. Time is a component of the measuring system, and flying is the process by which a matter moves either through the air, or beyond earth's atmosphere. So time cannot fly

I'm currently revisiting acapella groups. A few days ago I was blog hopping and saw this song "Stand By Me"(I think at Sherlyn's blog). I remembered that I once heard Straight No Chaser singing that before, so I went over to their website. I found a really nice version of Jason Marz's "I'm Yours". You can listen to Straight No Chaser's version

Also, here is another acapella group called "The Real Group". I really love their pop medley:
